Coordinator

Elaine M. Alec is Okanagan and Shuswap. She is the daughter of Sophie Alec from the Penticton Indian Band and the late Saul “Kenzie” Basil from the Bonaparte Indian Band. Elaine is 31 years old and is the proud mother of 14 year old Kyle Windwalker Alec. The position of the Comprehensive Community Plan Coordinator has been unpredictable. It is a position and plan that is completely community driven. It is a position that is a voice for the community and will help shape the future of our children and grandchildren. We are creating a vision for our community and will shape it into reality. We will build trust and relationships to make sure that everyone’s voice is heard and respected. We look forward to the next 3 years of this process.
